When Successor to Samsung Galaxy S with Froyo

The Galaxy S series has returned, now featuring a Super Clear LCD in place of the former Super AMOLED, and upgraded to version 2.2 of the Android operating system, Froyo.

Since its introduction in mid-2019, the Galaxy S has attracted the attention of millions of users. According to Samsung’s most recent data, released at the end of the year, up to 10 million units had been sold. JK. Samsung said that 1.4 million phones were sold in its first month. This means that around 400 thousand people bought a new Galaxy S every day. This number had grown to 5 million units during the five months leading up to October, doubling by the end of 2019.

In the wake of its success, the Galaxy S series i9003 was released in early 2011, complete with twin models. The only difference between the two is the screen. The screen is now Super Clear LCD. It also has a more advanced operating system, called Froyo 2.2.

Rumors have been circulating that Samsung experienced a shortage of AMOLED stock, which may have caused the company to change the type of screen they were using on their new Galaxy S line. Despite this, Samsung will reportedly still produce AMOLED screens for their own devices. Market analysis indicates that their AMOLED screens are already quite popular, with a global market share of 98 percent.

The economical advantage of utilizing Super Clear LCD technology is reflected in the decreased cost of the device, while the picture quality remains intact. However, it should be noted that the viewing angle is somewhat limited.

Questions regarding extensive energy usage may not be entirely accurate. This kind of display is reasonably cost-effective and Samsung has taken steps to increase the battery capacity from 1500 mAh to 1650 mAh to compensate. The only downside is that the internal memory has decreased from 8GB to 4GB, however, a microSD of 32GB can be added.

The body size has seen a slight change, with an increase of 0.7mm from 9.9mm to 10.59mm. This alteration has also resulted in a difference in weight, ranging from 119 to 131 grams.
